Lee Ronnie Hamilton Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 29, 1982. He grew up in an area of Baltimore known as Cherry Hill and attended school there until the 5th grade. He graduated from Northeast High School in Pasadena, MD. Lee was invited to attend the Capital Church of Christ in Annapolis, MD by a high school friend. He was baptized into the Lord's Church in July 2001 under the preaching and teaching of Brother Douglas Goodman.
Though a shy person, through the encouragement and support of his brothers in Christ, Lee decided to take the opportunity to be discipled by Bro. Goodman and mentored to preach the gospel of Christ. This event affected his life greatly giving him the strength to step out of his shell and up to the grand task of speaking and preaching the great truth of the gospel, which so many great men before him have done. He has learned much of what it is to be a godly man and has used God's Word to grow his family life. He married Charvonne Hamilton in 2004 and has four children: Charlee and Leeyah (twins), Micah, and Jordyn.
Brother Hamilton received his B.S. degree in Biblical Studies Summa Cum Laude from Southern Christian University in 2007. He is actively involved in the following ministries: Evangelism, Youth, Marriage, Care, Building and Grounds, Missing Members, Education and Public Relations. He teaches Bible class for grades 9 - 12. Brother Hamilton also volunteers and teaches Bible lessons at various nursing/convalescent homes in the Annapolis area with the care ministry.
Brother Hamilton knows that his life and story is only possible through the love and grace of God. He lives in constant remembrance of the words of the apostle Paul, "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day", 2 Timothy 1:12.
